Visited vetsmiths with my pug for his registration check up. Very friendly vet, gave my dog a good look over and discussed his history as my pug is a rescue dog. Gave advice on my pugs future. ie injections etc. Very impressed and would highly recommend

Thank you 'Team Wimborne' for helping me in my time of need. I resued a Dove that had blood on it's back. One quick call to Medivet and I took the bird into Vet 'Nora' for a free check up and advice. I took the bird home and followed the instructions. The bird is doing well. She is going to a rescue centre who knows the locals who have birds. On a different note... the new wonder drug my dog has just started having monthly for Osteoarthritis is already showing a huge improvement. He is pain free and the movement of his back legs has become so much easier. I don't know if this drug can be used for humans but it's worked so well for my boy. Thanks Nora for the recommendation!! Just called up medivet as a emergency and there got us in for a appointment in 15 mins , examined my kitten and treated him there then very pleased with the experience, thank you guys!!! :)

This was our first visit since before lockdown. I was so pleased with the safety precautions and social distancing that was in place. Staff were friendly and explained clearly and concisely what to expect at the visit. Payment was taken after the appointment over the phone. After the appointment the vet brought my cat back to my car where I had waited and despite the heavy rainfall he took time to explain the treatment given. Great service- I would highly recommend medivet Wimborne to other pet owners in our area. Many thanks.

I have anxiety issues with new situations/people and, having seen John and Owain Burrows for nearly 25 years was anxious about the change in vets. However, nothing breaks the ice quicker than a cat who has a panic "accident" in his pet carrier in the waiting room!. We had taken our kitty for his annual booster/MOT. We saw Brad, the lead vet, and he couldn't have been nicer. He was patient and gentle with our kitty, cleaned him as best he could and also put this kitty's mummy at ease straight away with his friendliness and kindness. Kitty was traumatised at having let himself down so badly but his mummy came home with a great sense of relief and joy at the kindness and care shown to her boy. Very pleased with the standard of care and the way Brad dealt with my rather smelly cat. Would recommented this vet in a heartbeat!

Really impressed, the vet has an excellent manner and read my dog immediately. He took his time to make the experience positive and is very thorough and knowledgeable, happy with price and staff. Thanks Wimborne Medivet, my dog enjoyed his appointment.
