Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from the RVC in 2005. I started my career in a mixed practice in Leicester before moving south to work purely in small animal practice. I worked in a practice in Surrey before coming to Medivet Whitton in 2013. I enjoy all aspects of veterinary work but have a particular interest in both medicine and ophthalmology. At home I have two small children who certainly keep me busy. We also have a terrier called Max and a british short hair called Alfie. In my spare time I like to keep fit and enjoy going for a run.

I qualified from Cambridge in 2008 and have since completed a General Practitioner's Certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology. I joined Medivet in 2013 alongside Louise who I had also worked with in my previous job so we have always worked together as a team and we love being able to help the animal community in Whitton, Hounslow and the surrounding areas, as well as getting to know their owners. I am a member of the British Association of Veterinary Ophthalmology (BRAVO) and the European Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology (ESVO). In my spare time I love to go running and wild swimming and I have a black moggie cat, Pickle, who really likes the challenge of living up to his name!

I found a cat on central avenue Hounslow. The cat was in a road accident. I brought her to the nearest vet for treatment. Next day I rang for an update, they said they put the cat to sleep. They don’t want to spend sufficient time or treatment on animals. l beg you people don’t bring any pet for treatment to this vet. They don’t have feeling or sympathy for pets.

Really nice staff. Unfortunately, they were unable to make diagnosis on what's wrong with my cat. I've been offered to run some tests that were showing nothing, I said stop when suggested to do a £2k scan. Maybe insured pets are more lucky there, it doesn't look good from my point of view. The cat had worms by the way...

Catherine is the WORST vet ive ever been to. Completely incompetent. Took my cat with diarreah and instead of giving him appropriate treatment, she started going on about his kidney. Charged me for a blood test to check kidney values (which were fine) and didn't even check for infections in it and gave me anti sickness medicine only for my cat. Made no difference to my cat so called them up asking for antibiotics and then she straight up lied and said there was no sign of infection in his blood even though at the consultation she had told me she never even tested for infection!! BIG FAT LIAR!! Only aim is to make money and force you to come in as many times as possible

The staff at Medivet are very helpful. They look after my cat every time I come for my appointments and they provide very good feedback and recommendations on how to look after my cat. I would strongly recommend people to register their pets here!

My cat Jojo had been very poorly in December and over Christmas. She had such care given to her at Medivet. I find the vets Louise & Catherine very caring and professional as well as the nurses who are all very helpful, kind and caring. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
