I graduated from the RVC in 2005. I started my career in a mixed practice in Leicester before moving south to work purely in small animal practice. I worked in a practice in Surrey before coming to Medivet Whitton in 2013. I enjoy all aspects of veterinary work but have a particular interest in both medicine and ophthalmology. At home I have two small children who certainly keep me busy. We also have a terrier called Max and a british short hair called Alfie. In my spare time I like to keep fit and enjoy going for a run.

I qualified from Cambridge in 2008 and have since completed a General Practitioner's Certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology. I joined Medivet in 2013 alongside Louise who I had also worked with in my previous job so we have always worked together as a team and we love being able to help the animal community in Whitton, Hounslow and the surrounding areas, as well as getting to know their owners. I am a member of the British Association of Veterinary Ophthalmology (BRAVO) and the European Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology (ESVO). In my spare time I love to go running and wild swimming and I have a black moggie cat, Pickle, who really likes the challenge of living up to his name!

I visited Medivet this morning due to my kitten's fleas. My kitten had her vaccine and flea treatment last week, at which time I also signed up for petplan which include one month free pet insurance. I am concerned that the vet had no record of having administered flea treatment the week previously. She administered a different type of flea treatment on this occasion, and said I didn't need to pay as I am insured. As I was leaving, the girl at reception, who had signed me up with "petplan" the previous week, said "don't forget to sign up with petplan". I assumed she was referring to me extending the one month free pet insurance, so I replied that I wold look into it later as I want to get my pet home. There was also another 2 members of staff at reception, and I felt all three were staring at me in a judgemental intimidating manner. As I left, one of the staff members followed me out and said that I had to return to pay for the treatment. I had to keep repeating that I am paying "petplan" and I have one month pet insurance, she said they have no records that show that I have cover. After about 10 minutes she eventually realised I was telling the truth and apologised. I am an honest person, and I feel insulted by the staff's treatment towards me. I am also very concerned that they have no records of prior treatment and "petplan" sign ups. Since the short time I've registered at Medivet, the vets are always very kind. However, the unkind treatment I received by the other members of staff at the reception desk this morning, is upsetting an unacceptable.

I called up this morning regarding my puppy having worms and I could tell straight away that Medivet was the practise to register him with, the man on the phone was easy to talk to and extremely helpful, even when I popped in this afternoon I felt comfortable to ask questions even if they seemed silly! Thank you :)

Been with Medivet for 10 years, such a great practice. The vets and staff are warm, welcoming and really care about your pets. I always know they're in good hands when I bring them. The monthly plan is also really great, helps spread the costs of check ups, vaccinations, flea and worming.
