Veterinary Surgeon

Having wanted to be a vet from as early as I can remember and having celebrated my 25th anniversary as a vet last year, I consider myself fortunate to be able to wake up in the morning and look forward to my work every day. Seeing the love that people have for the pets and recognising that they are family members I am able to help both people and their pets and that is my passion. Returning to working in the United Kingdom after running a small animal surgery in South Africa for 14 years opens a new and exciting chapter in my life . I enjoying exercise and the outdoors and I look forward to sharing this adventure with my family.

Patient Care Assistant

I joined Medivet in October 2019 and started my journey working in the Hendon Region as a floating PCA. I have always wanted to work with animals in some capacity since childhood, with my younger self dreaming of working as a zookeeper. I currently have a chocolate Labrador named Aero and previously owned a pet Gerbil named Maxi and a Hamster called Spike.

Friendly, helpful, understanding and clearly care deeply for all animals. I always feel happy that my dogs have had the best treatment after my appointment and that all of the staff are really nice and fully understanding of the stresses I’m under when I bring one of my dogs who are family to me. I have 14 disabled dogs so I have to have a very good vet

Have used Medivet fot the last 6 years started with Ollie a ginger neutered cat who was 10yrs old when he came to me he has had 2 small ops in the last five years but he can be a bite naughty with the Vets but Catarina and her staff of Vicky and Becky cope and put him at ease. The latest cat is Toby a black/white male cat who I found in my garden lean two in Dec 2013 he looked in a very poor state I phoned the RSPCA who informed me that because he was a stray they would only pay for him to be put to sleep, I believed he was to given a chance so I took him to Medivet at wexham to see what they could do. The vet at the time was Marga who was marvellous and she discovered he had feline aids which with care and medicines improved enormously unfortunately he is open to infections and he has had all of his teeth removed this helped him for somtime but then started to loose weight and developed ringworm which he has had twice in 2016/2017 but he is still bright and not suffering and improving every day and putting weight on and starting to eat normally. I must say that Catarina and her nurses have been outstanding in giving Toby special baths every week which I understand he loves. I know he is open to all sorts of infections but while he is looked after with love and care by the exceptional Catarina and the nurses he can look forward to a long life. Thank you all at wexham.
