Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated in 2019, from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Lisbon and started working in the UK right away in an independent practice; I joined Medivet Welton in October 2022 and have since then started my Certification in Diagnostic Imaging. My main interests in the veterinary field, aside from Imaging, are Internal Medicine and Feline Medicine. My main hobbies outside of work are reading, painting and spending time with my rescue cat; she is a grumpy old lady but loves a good cuddle and chin rubs.

I have been a Veterinary Surgeon since 2019, the year I graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Lisbon. Immediately after graduating, I began my career in the UK, working as a first opinion clinician. I've joined the Medivet Welton team in January 2024 and am actively pursuing my Certificate in Veterinary Business Management. Within the veterinary field, my primary interests lie in Internal Medicine and Dermatology. Outside of work, I enjoy activities such as going to the gym, playing Xbox games with my elderly cat nestled in my lap, and travelling to new countries and cities.

My beloved cat took ill last week and we have recently moved to the area, I rang the vet nearest to me and even though I told them I thought she was in real trouble they couldn’t see her until the next day!! I rang Medivet Welton and they took my details and asked me to get her there as soon as I could. When I arrived they took her away but sadly she could not be saved. 😞 I was distraught as it was so unexpected as she hadn’t shown any signs she was unwell. I want to thank the vet and all the staff who tried to help last week and the kindness they showed me. ❤️

Medivet in Welton, Lincoln, went above and beyond to help my pet with an emergency Saturday morning appointment even though we were new to them and had only just joined the practise. Very friendly and helpful reception staff (Jess) and very efficient vet.

I contacted Welton vets as I noticed my dog had a sore, inflamed ear. I rang up and got an appointment almost immediately. My little Shih Tzu gets very stressed at the vets but they were great with her, doing everything possible to help keep her calm.

Very happy with the incredible customer service at Medivet Welton. The receptionist was caring, compassionate and efficient, which is so important when you have a poorly cat, and you yourself are feeling stressed because of this. I got an appointment swiftly. The vet we saw was incredibly knowledgeable treated my cat, and answered all the questions I had regarding how to get him to drink more and about future treatment. Really very happy. I'd been dreading finding out the cost, as, like with most people, money is tight, but the treatment did not cost as much as I had been expecting either, which was a welcome relief.

Friendly establishment. Not the greatest environment but it has been improved with the recent decorating. Rarely anyone on reception, but someone comes after a while when one presses the bell. Great experience with Jess the vet nurse today. Very kind and friendly

I cannot speak highly enough of the team at medivet. They go above and beyond to make you and your pet feel welcome, safe and cared for. They understand your pet is your family and are respectful and understanding of your worries and concerns. The team take time to listen and to talk things through and never make you feel rushed.I wouldn't wish for any other team to care for my pets. Maria and Diogo have been incredible during a tough 7 months with my gorgeous cat Woody. Lyndsey has been a rock throughout as was Nina prior to leaving . Jess has stepped in and quickly became familiar with Woody too. Sadly we said goodbye to our boy but I couldn't have asked for any more from the team, they were committed to the very end. We have the best memories of the wonderful care and will continue to use this incredible practice with our other pets.
