I spend most of my time managing the practice and the wonderful team. Keeping everything running smoothly is more than a full time job. Most of my time is spent behind the scenes supporting the team, and clients. I particularly love the diversity and challenges that occur daily, and helping owners and their companions. Outside of work I am busy with three boys and keeping active.

Can’t say enough good things about medivet Standish, they have seen both my puppies with no issues at all I’ve the past 3 years, not only that when my dads cat (who at the time wasn’t registered at the practice) became ill, they saw her straight away with no hesitation and the care she received in that time was second to non. And today when I have brought my kitten in for the first time the care for her was amazing. These vets really care about your animals and I think the price you pay is fair for the care and service you receive whilst there. No problem is too big or small for them. Will never take my pets anywhere else!

Staff are friendly however consultation rooms are small for larger breeds and consultations are done on the floor would be great if they had a lifting table. Sometimes it seems price takes precedence over the right course of treatment for the animal. I understand this may be procedure but can be a little off putting when you just want whats right for your pet regardless of the cost, may be a better way to approach this

My dog is vet reactive, there is often a lot of shame in this but at Medivet, especially with Hilary, Luna is respected and treated kindly. All appointments go at Luna's pace and as such she has allowed more physical contact than she ever has before. She does have ongoing conditions and the treatments recommended strike the balance between Luna's physical needs and her emotional and psychological needs. I always feel listened to and understood.
