Seen one vet during the week and was told if nothing changed after the treatment we was probably looking at putting my dog to sleep. When we went back with our dog, who had got worse, we was told to prolong the treatment by a different vet. Obviously this was very upsetting as we prepared ourselves for not bringing our dog home. We decided on euthanasia which in our opinion was the correct choice because quality of life wasn't there. The vet made us feel very bad about doing this. Not impressed with how she spoke to us and treated us. The rest of the staff were very professional and polite. Maybe the vet was having a bad day. Me and my wife were obviously very upset about what happened.

Fantastic vets. I’ve used most of the vets in St Helens over the years and these are definitely the best. Staff, costs, ease of getting an appointment. Would definitely recommend.

DO NOT USE THIS VETS if u want to come back to loosin your family member My dog has been in the family for 4 years and any other vets not an issue but take him here to be told he needs surgery he needs this he can’t be walked etc basically tryin to rob money out of you for things he doesn’t need goes in for an ulcer ir scratch on his eye and please tell me how the dog has ended up dying for treatment for a ulcer/scratch you have clearly overdosed the dog pumping him with stuff he didn’t need clearly not a clue what your doing never ever will I use these vets absolute disgrace dog was perfectly fit and healthy but use find something wrong to make money out of people Robbin ***** and now I have lost my dog because of you use should be ashamed of yourselves!!!! If I could leave 0 stars I would Any normal vets u walk in animals seen to prescribed with stuff but that dog was in there and use have pumped him with drugs and now trying to cover your tracks the dog was left after being given a drug when someone is meant to sit with him but when someone went to check him found dead in the kennel he was in there’s more to this an I will get to the bottom of it oh an more is coming out of this as the vet Andre had given him a pain killer with a bit of sedation in and andre has given him sedation when he didn’t need it but owner didn’t sign for it as vet Andre had already given the dog the sedation and he didn’t tell main man TOM but owner Andre n Adam was there when Andre had said he’s given the dog some sedative so now it makes sense why Andre was smirking when we pulled him about the sedation and this sedation wasn’t even recorded on the dogs notes and now makes sense why back tracking on it all an trying to cover up which has resulted in my dog dying from the drugs you have pumped him with!!! Got asked by receptionist why dogs legs was going from underneath him Andre’s reply oh that’ll be the sedation kicking in WHY have you given the dog sedation he was the most calmest friendliest dog ever and Andre and Adam (Adam student vet) have over dosed the dog absolute disgrace but trying to cover there tracks nothing put on the dogs records you have given him sedation and main man Tom doesn’t even know this will be taken further and higher up as u had the ordacidy to stand there and lie an smirk in my face
