The vet was amazing! He made sure that I was seen only 30 minutes late. If it wasn't for him noticing that I was waiting for ages, I would have been waiting in the cramped waiting room even longer as the administrative staff failed to "double click" and register my attendance. Again, the vet himself was fabulous 🙌

Dr. Giuseppe is incredible. Our cat can be aggressive when he is scared, but he was surprisingly calm in Dr. Giuseppe's capable hands as he was being examined and getting an injection. That almost made me cry for a relief. Dr. Giuseppe's communication skills with humans are also excellent. It means so much to us that we found someone to rely on for our cat.

We have been bringing our dogs to Medivet Southwark for nearly 5 years and have nothing but praise for the vets at this practice. Our dogs can be very nervous of vet visits and they have always gone out of their way to help them try to relax during appointments. They are always knowledgeable and I've even called them for advice on my mum's senior dog when she had a seizure at our house, when they went above and beyond trying to help us over the phone. All our dogs have now been spayed by Giuseppe and the care shown during and after their surgery was fantastic; with detailed guidance on aftercare and recovery time + suggested follow up appointments, along with clear conversations on fees for every aspect of treatment. Thank you Giuseppe and all the team @ Medivet it is much appreciated

Excellent staff, made Bella feel comfortable during her visit. Reception staff did not stop at all when I was in there but still took the time and effort to make me feel welcome at my now new vets practice. Very pleased and would recommend

I had a terrible experience with this veterinary practice. One day, my dog tore a nail, and since I was just next to the clinic when it happened, I went in to ask for an appointment. The vet was available just before closing, so he came to see my dog, but instead of taking us inside, the entire "consultation" happened right at the entrance, in the doorway. Before I could even process what was happening, he had already given my dog a painkiller injection without asking for my consent. Then, he immediately told me that my dog needed urgent surgery, handing me a quote of over £450. That same evening, the nail fell off on its own, proving that no surgery was needed in the first place! It was probably obvious that it was about to fall, but they still tried to push for an unnecessary and expensive procedure. At the time, they didn't ask me to pay anything. However, I moved a few weeks later, and they somehow tracked me down at my new address, sending me an inflated bill of over £115 for a so-called consultation that literally took place on the doorstep, a fee I was never informed about!

I needed to use Medivet Southwark whilst staying in London. I hadn’t used them before but I was able to get an appointment within 90 minutes of calling. Very friendly, helpful & efficient. Fees seemed standard/comparable.
