Medivet Southgate

My dog almost run out into the traffic because the vet opened the door. He said I couldn’t ask any questions or have worming tablets without the full check up even though my dog had full check up three months prior to this. I tried to tell him she’d had one already but he wasn’t having it so he quickly opened the door without saying anything. My dog wasn’t on the lead because she was in treatment room. When I questioned him and told him this was irresponsible and that my dog could have got run over he got nasty. It was an awful experience because someone just walked in so entrance door was open. My dog was already scared/nervous and he saw how reluctant she was going in so she run out. How dare him.. The guy with the funny eye is only after money. He’s ignorant and doesn’t care at all what happens to your pet. Stay away from this place. I’ve since changed my vets and glad I never have to take her there again. My dogs always traumatized in that horrible place. He is horrible guy and it shows on he’s face. They don’t care about your pet. I wouldn’t even give a star with what I experienced but I needed to express my concerns.

Took my cat this morning for booster. Appointment made weeks ago. When I arrived was informed NO VET ALL WEEK! Receptionist said she contacted me on Friday before. No message received either landline or mobile. Had hassle of getting my cat in the box for nothing. Avoid this veterinary surgery now. Gone downhill since head vet left.

I came this morning with my old cat of 15 and the nurse went above and beyond to help put me at ease . You are so lucky to have her at your practice her name is Shannon deserves a medal wish more people was as lovely as her 😍

No safeguarding practices, putting my dogs life at risk (and being charged for it). Rude, uncaring staff all round. Made a complaint at Medivet headquarters, with serious allegations, and never received a response, highlighting the issues are company wide. Moved vet practice now. Just so grateful they didn't seriously hurt or even kill my dog with their negligence.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! The guy who works there hade no manners. my friend hade terrible experience, and the two young ladies come cross rude not very knowledgeable and not very caring. It's shame as it's local. My friend was recommended to Posters Bar and finely very happy.

The hygiene it's absolutely disgusting you only need to look round back of the shop they leave they rubbish on floor.

Great Staff Holly is very efficient and Thomas the vet very caring and attentively to our dog.

He was even scared to touch my dig he was one if the unfriendly vet I have ever seen in my life. It was our first visit in Southgate branch for registery and I was charged £80 without any explanation. I was spouse to pay £17 only I didn't even checked the amount and pay. Next day it appeared on my account that I was charged over £80. I phoned the vet explained what happened and I was told because I have seen the vet and been charged because of that. I was told by the receptionists to bring my dog in for registration but never explained I was going to be charged £60 for it. The vet did not even examine my dog properly I don't think I will be going there again. I used to go to Enfield medivet and all the vet absolutely brilliant. I don't think I will go back there again.
