My name is Mohamed and I am the Lead vet here at Medivet Salisbury. I am delighted to welcome you to our practice and am very privileged to work with an amazing group of vets, nurses and receptionists to offer 'top notch' care for all our patients. I currently live in Dorset/Hampshire and have done since 2014 . I love it here! I qualified in 2005 and since then have spent time working in equine, and small animal practice. Last year, I also decided to start my journey to acquire a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in Small Animal Surgery. I have a real interest in both surgical and medical conditions affecting cats, dogs and rabbits and I'm very passionate about the veterinary profession, creating a good workplace for my team to work in as well as making sure clients feel informed and supported in their pets’ health journey. Looking forward to meeting new patients and their families and helping each one live a happy, healthy life.

I joined the practice in August 2020 as a Communication Assistant, before enrolling at Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing in September 2021 and qualifying as an Animal Nursing Assistant in March 2023, this is when I found my love for animal care. In September 2024 I returned to Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing and have now entered my first year of Veterinary Nurse training. I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of nursing and am excited for the learning journey ahead. In my spare time I love going for long walks with my family including our Border Collier Teyr, but love nothing more than a cosy cuddle on the sofa with my Cat Mowzer.

I joined the Vets in August 2008; and qualified as an RVN in October 2012. I was Head nurse and clinical coach at the practice, until we moved to East Sussex in 2021. I now work remotely doing the insurance claims, answering the phone, booking operations and providing pre operation information for our client's pets. The majority of my role is behind the scenes, but still part of the practice team. In my spare time I love to walk with my Staffy Maggie, we are lucky to have so many lovely walks here as well as of course the beach.

I am originally from a small rural town in Northern Ireland. Here, I worked as a Patient Care Assistant in a veterinary practice for two years before moving to Oxfordshire where I began working with Medivet in 2018 as a mobile Patient Care Assistant. Shortly after this I joined the team in the region's 24-hour hospital, where I began college. I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in the summer of 2022. I moved to the Salisbury branch in August 2023 when my partner and myself relocated. I take great pride in my work and in ensuring all patients are comfortable and happy while with us here in practice. I am a pet mum to a beautiful cat, Barnaby, a whippet, Cuba and our other little dog, Poppy, who are spoiled absolutely rotten!

I started working for Medivet in March 2023 and have been working in the industry as a Veterinary Nurse Assistant for 3 years. I am now in my 2nd year of Veterinary nurse training. Before joining the team, I worked at Pet Practice and Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists. I learnt and experienced a lot of eye-opening cases in the 3 years, and gained so much experience when working with poorly patients. My favourite activity is taking my 3 year old Golden Retriever, Ava out for long walks on my days off.

I joined Medivet at the Salisbury branch in October 2023 after graduating as an RVN from Harper Adams University in September 2023. During my time at university I spent a placement year in a busy veterinary hospital in Macclesfield which only furthered my passion for animals and nursing them back to health. I have a big soft spot for senior animals and their care, helping to support them during their retirement years! In my spare time I love to go on long, scenic walks and travel around the UK to see my university friends.

I joined the practice in April of 2024 after recently having moved to Salisbury from Central London. Before moving I worked in a busy vet practice as Senior Client Care Advisor where I built-up experience of working in and knowledge of the Veterinary industry. Back home, I have a family husky called Demon (though he really is an angel) who is the family member I'm keen to see most when I go back. Outside of work, if I'm not visiting Demon, I like to read, venture out on travels or do absolutely nothing.

I joined Medivet in October 2024 having previously worked in the lettings industry for 12 years. Working in a veterinary practice is very new to me and I am loving every minute! I feel very lucky to be working here, especially meeting all of our clients and their very treasured pets. There is so much to learn and no two days are the same, but I am very much enjoying the challenge of my new career. In my spare time I like nothing better than heading to the coast with my cocker spaniel Milo.

My cat was poorly recently, and Mo at Medivet gave him exceptional care over a couple of very worrying days. The rest of the team were extremely caring and kind too, and I felt utterly confident that my cat was in the best hands possible. Thanks so much for everything from me and Henry.

I will be forever grateful to the whole team at Medivet for taking care of my cat. ❤️ He was not a patient at this practice until he was taken there by a member of the public after an RTA. The whole team treated my cat and myself with the utmost care and understanding in what was a stressful time. All the staff were so friendly and professional, helping me to think straight at a time when it was hard to do so. Thank you to the whole team for your care, expertise and support. Yes, my cat has been renamed ‘Lucky’! 🫶

Awful experience. They said they had a cat friendly waiting room. Ended up having to wait for 20 mins in the car after the 5 dogs in the witing room left my cat shaking in fear. No offers of help from the receptionists. Went in for an annual check up. Had booked the appointment a week in advanced. They request my previous vets details to get my cats medical records. They did not contact the previous vet until during my appointment. My cat stopped eating and lost a large amount of weight in a short period of time. Vet said his teeth were fine. We had to talk them into taking blood samples. While shaving my cat they cut his neck and brought him back out to me with blood still all over his neck. They did not order the correct blood tests and we had to go back a week later for different tests. Again the same stress in the waiting room. No follow up after the blood tests to get the results until I rang several times. During one of these phone calls the vet said my cat clearly had a problem with his teeth and they needed to be removed. The vet also constantly got mixed up between diabetes, thyroid problems and kidney problems. When I finally got the results back they had my cats sex, neutered status, micro chip and birthday incorrect. They claimed all the blood tests were normal and my cat was losing weight and weeing everywhere because of stress. The billing system was very confused. Very hard to get an actual price out of them. They just kept telling me the discounts I could get if I signed up to the monthly payment plan. The only unsolicited follow up call from them was about how the system was down so they couldn't charge me yet. This was why I was waiting for the first set of blood test results, no mention of which was made by them during the call. Went to a different vet on Monday. After multiple calls from me and the new vet they finally provided all the blood test results. These showed he has hyperthyroidism. An injection of antibiotics and three doses of medication late he has perked up already and has stopped weeing all over the house. My cat had an undiagnosed bladder infection for three weeks thanks to these guys. Who knows how long his hyperthyroidism would have remained untreated. Three appointments over 2.5 weeks. Three blood tests. Hundreds of pounds. Huge amounts of stress for me and my cat. And they missed one of the most common diagnoses in cats the age of mine. Google wouldn't let me post with zero stars.

Disgusting, They push Consultation after consultation upon me when it was not needed, for them to finally agree that I was right and it wasn’t needed and that I could have the medication for my dog, (mo) The veterinary bloke took fluid out my dog‘s neck to tell me it will be sent off to the lab, To find out four days later, when I was requesting the results, he actually hadn’t sent anything off. Disgusting behaviour. I then asked for it to be done again, for Medivet To tell me that they will book me in for ‘another’ consultation I said free of charge and that was declined! I have emailed and followed up on a report with the manager. Just waiting to hear back. Hopefully, my next review upon Medivet Will be a lot more satisfactory, For their reputation and my peace of mind, but not only that, more importantlymy dogs well-Being and health.

Great Vets. Reception staff, vets, and other support staff are very friendly and helpful. We've had to visit them a few times recently. Once for the planned spay of our dog and then a couple of unexpected visits after unrelated to the spay. Great care for both the planned and unexpected visits.

Very surprised at the negative experiences in other reviews, we've just moved to the area and are delighted with their treatment of our dog. They are the first vets to really get to the bottom of her skin problems, address behavioural symptoms as well as physical and not just prescribe expensive antihistamines! They clearly explained the treatment options and pricing, as well as their reasoning, and were so kind and caring with our nervous rescue.

We have very disappointed by the attention to detail at this practice. When our dog received her rabies jab, it was not correctly recorded and we almost had to cancel our trip to France. Very inefficient and disorganized.

Avoid. Totally different team. Vet we saw treated our pet appallingly. Our beloved cat we’d owned for 19yrs howled with agony at the way she was handled. She had never done this before in her whole life. Took her immediately to another vet who was horrified when we described what had just happened. The set up seems to have one focus - your money. After nearly £1000 of unneeded tests we walked away. From speaking to others it appears the same for them. There was even a lady in the car park, when we were there calling a friend in tears saying she just couldn’t understand why she was being asked to undertake over £800 of tests on her cat. I 100% accept Vets are different these days and there’s a whole new bunch of ways to look after pets but having sat in the waiting room twice for nearly an hour each time we couldn’t believe how many pets being brought in were suddenly being rushed to the back office for urgent tests. How many multi night stay dental appointments were being booked. How many pets were being held back for overnight observations. Every thing seemed to be an expensive emergency or illness requiring multiple tests. The only thing more unbelievable was the vast charges being put through the reception till. Clients looked genuinely shocked. When we were with the vet we noticed his phone calculator was open with a figure on it that was exactly the same as what we’d been charged 2 days earlier. It could have been a pure coincidence but seemed extremely suspicious. The reality is Pet owners will always want the best for their loved ones. This place now seems to want the best for its bottom line. So, so sad.

5 star medical care with 5 star customer care. My dog would not be here today if it weren't for their skill and efforts. This extends beyond the surgical team to the whole staff whose support made a harrowing time more bearable.
