I’m a long term customer, but costs for a basic checkup are high and mark up on drugs are unreasonable. £40 for a single flew treatment! Staff are lovely, but the premises need renovation. Haven’t seen any refurbishment in years. The building is starting to look tired. Invest some money Medivet!

The most wonderful practice . Emma on reception is an angel . So helpful, caring and nothing too much trouble . Emma helped me so quickly and with such care and compassion . I got an emergency appt quick and Anna the vet was so kind , honest and thorough . I have no regrets about switching to this practice - wish I had of done it sooner .

A very disappointing visit yesterday! Started really good with appointment given fast as I was a walk in, continued with the vet being excellent and gave me medication needed to cure Ozzy and warned me that his ear could be lost if medication is not given and to bring Ozzy back in 4 days if not improves. Then the experience went bad, with the medication in my pocket the receptionist asked for payment, so I explained that I had no money on me and that I can pay on Monday when my benefits are in the bank but this not okay and said that without payment I can't take medication! I explained that through out my time with this vet (approx 15-20 years) payment has been made by my parents with a cheque so by the time it arrives in post it'll be here on Monday again this wasn't okay. So I had to phone my parents from the vets in front of everyone. Very very humiliating to be watched by everyone and explaining to my mum the situation. This may be the way business works now but I have been left very depressed and shaken the future is bleak as I think I'm going to have Ozzy rehomed if he's still ill in four days because I already know I can't afford ,my anxiety is through the roof because I need to know what the bill is before its given to me, how can you know what price before you've had appointment. I had to give only 3 stars because THIS VET IS ONLY INTERESTED IF YOU ARE WELL OFF!!!! IF YOU ARE POOR THEN THIS VET WILL NOT HELP YOUR PET THEY ARE WILLING TO PUT YOUR ANIMALS AT RISK!!!!
