I have been using this practice since 2003, through the changes and the move, and have always found them friendly, professional and understanding. Our dog never likes going but he is always ok when we get to see the vet. Great practice.

It’s taking me over 5 months to post this , I highly recommend you, you looked after my Gerrard from a pup till he had to be taken away to haven 5 months ago ! You handled everything well , your vet who helped him pass over was amazing she was so sweet and compassionate. You sent us a lovely little card of condolences and some seeds we will plant 🪴 in September. My Gerrard passed away age 15/ years and 5 months old, that is a long time of care from you guys. Thank you 🙏 also for putting his white blanket laying around him , we asked for that and when we went to see him in the crematorium he had the white blanket and toy duck we asked for. Gerrard was are world one of a kind , a true little boy that loved everyone 🥹 thank you to all the staff nurses and vets you are wonderful Xx

Thank you to Matthew and all the staff as yet again you looked after us all well today when our gorgeous 15 year old dog had her necessary op, we know you are brilliant with the animals but you know it’s the owners that fret more lol. From the consultation taking time over whether absolutely necessary, risks due to her age and all of us making the decision together, to the aftercare. You are all amazing. Thank you again.

I took my guinea pig here for an ongoing problem, she frequently would catch chest infections resulting in issues with her respiratory system. I was informed she was completely fine, which I did question but eventually accepted. Later that week she had deteriorated and we called to get an urgent appointment which was refused! After hours calling around we eventually got her into a different vet who was appalled by the poor treatment and clearly incorrect medical records they had been provided with. She was incredibly ill, and this different veterinary practice believed she would have been unwell at her previous appointment on the Monday just days before, here at medivet. Sadly she passed away. She was in pain at the end, and all of this could have been prevented. I believe that she would still be alive had it not been for the uncaring and negligent actions of multiple members of this practice. I have must have spent thousands here which now feels futile.

My daughter brought her guinea pig in on the Monday as she was struggling to breathe. She was told she was fit and healthy, the vet spent 1 minute with her and charged her £40. By Thursday night she was obviously very ill so we rang early Friday. We were told there were no appointments and to ring Boston or wait til Monday...we explained that by Monday she would be dead and could we just have a repeat prescription from her last chest infection. We were told no and if Monday was no good go to Boston if they could fit us in. We went to another local vets later that day who informed us that our pet was incredibly ill and prescribed antibiotics and anti inflammatory medicine for a fraction of what we pay at Quarrington. It's touch and go and we hope she will get better no thanks to Medivets... corporate profit over care. 1 star is too high
