Hi, my name's Robert! I qualified as a vet from Kaunas (Lithuania) Life Science University in 2014. My veterinary career has included mixed and small animal practices around Poland and only small animals in the UK. I settled back in Whittlesey in 2016. At work, I enjoy a bit of everything, but I have a real soft spot for painful geriatric cats, especially the grumpy ones! I am also interested in pain management and oncology. I am still undertaking further training in the Certificate in Surgery (CertAVP). I also like seeing our smaller furry friends, especially the Rabbits and rats.

Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified from the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest in 2017 following my lifelong dream of becoming a vet and have been working as a Veterinary Surgeon in the UK since January 2018. I grew up with animals, and my love for them and the need to help them was the reason I wanted to become a vet! I am dedicated to the comfort and wellbeing of all my patients. I always do my best to help them and their parents, assuring they are always treated with kindness, compassion and respect! Although I have a passion for surgery, I find veterinary medicine amazing and enjoy it as a whole! I am grateful to have achieved my dream of becoming a vet, being able to do what I love and try my best to make a difference! Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and I also enjoy travelling.

I have been working for Medivet for over 18 years now. I qualified in 2006 after falling in love with the profession during some work experience. Previously, I worked at Medivet St Ives for 16 years as Head Nurse before moving to the Whittlesey practice. Living in Whittlesey for nearly all my life, I really enjoy now working here and helping all the poorly pets in the town. I enjoy all aspects of the job but in particular I like consulting and giving owners advice on pet healthcare. Outside of work, I manage a local kids football team, which I have done now for 3 years. I also enjoy fishing, socialising with friends / family and gaming. I live with my wife and 2 children. We have a working cocker spaniel called Amber, 4 chickens, 3 guinea pigs, a tortoise and a bearded dragon.

I have been working at Medivet Whittlesey nine and a half years as a Client Care Assistant. I have always loved animals and working within the veterinary industry was always a dream of mine when I was younger. I made a big career change when I joined and I’ve never looked back. I love meeting and greeting our clients and their pets, providing all the necessary support in good times and sad times. When not at work I enjoy family time with my husband and little boy. I love to be outdoors and I love horses. Any spare time I have these days I try to spend getting my horsey fix. I have two dogs, Penelope and Ruby and a cat called Floyd.
