Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

I started at Oxted in 2014 and loved it so much that I became Branch Partner in 2015. I love the bright, spacious clinic, my hard-working team and, of course, all our amazing clients. I have a Labrador called Pete that comes to work with me most days. I also have a cat called Lily whose more than happy to stay at home. I initially qualified in Dublin in 1987 but I've lived in the south east ever since then. I have a strong interest in behaviour and holistic care.

I have been with Oxted since 2020. I love working in our busy practice and enjoy giving our pets the very best care every day. I live with my 'stay at home' cat - Toffee. I qualified from the University of Surrey. I am working towards a certificate in Surgery, but I also have a special interest in diagnostic imaging. Outside of work you'll either find me in the gym or sat at home watching football.

I have been a part of Medivet Oxted since 2019, initially starting as a patient care assistant, and will soon be qualifying as a registered veterinary nurse. At home I have 2 cats, 2 tortoises and a dog, all of which are rescues. Once qualified I hope to broaden my knowledge and complete a certificate in emergency and critical care. Outside of work I enjoy running and going to the gym. I also do horse riding and also like going to festivals.

We have been registered at Medivet Oxted for 9 years and have been so happy with their service , compassion and friendlyliness . Our dog has always been well looked after . At first he was nervous at going to the vets , but now happily goes through the door to the vets . The receptionists are very welcoming and polite , as too are the vetinary nurses and know the needs of your puppy or dog or cat. They are very qualified and loving to your pets .

Paul, Farid and the team provided unstinting and compassionate care or our beloved blue-eyed Traditional Siamese cat Claude during the final six months of his life. We could not have asked for more effective or humane treatment and nursing from initial diagnosis to end-of-life. Thank you.

We are very lucky that we registered with Oxted Medivet, Farid has been fantastic with our cats. We have had a few appointments since we registered our cats two years ago and each time it has been great! Good communication, clear instructions, cats looked after very well. We finally don't need to worry about our cats, if anything goes wrong we can always speak with Oxted Medivet and get it sorted. A huge relief!!

Always get seen on time. Dr Grant is very holistic in his approach which I love. He takes the time to listen, read up on medical notes etc. I don’t feel rushed (which is a common problem with many vets - and even GP’s!).

So glad to of found this practice and vet Paul. Friendly staff on site and easy to make an appointment as well as park. Really pleased with the treatment provided to my dogs and ethos Paul has with regard to my dogs overall health and welfare. Paul has been happy to support my choice to worm count, titre test and raw feed my dogs. A breath of fresh air to have found a vet who is happy with the way I choose to care for them. Two happy customers 🐾🐾
