Extremely Disappointing Experience - Avoid This Vet! I took my Labrador Retriever for a full check-up to this Vet, and I was deeply disappointed with the service we received. The entire check-up lasted only about 30 seconds, during which the veterinarian barely looked at my dog. He failed to examine important areas such as my dog's joints, ears, gums, and even a noticeable cut on his arm. When I inquired about the thoroughness of the check-up, the veterinarian became defensive and began shouting, insisting that this was normal procedure. He then abruptly walked to the door and told me to leave, stating that he didn’t have time for my questions. This level of unprofessionalism is simply unacceptable. To make matters worse, despite the inadequate service, they attempted to charge me £75 for this hurried consultation. I refused to pay given the poor treatment, and now, they have escalated the situation by involving a collection agency. I am prepared to stand my ground and take this matter to court if necessary. I strongly advise against taking your pets to this clinic. There are many more qualified and caring veterinary clinics in Isleworth that will provide the proper care your furry friends deserve. Save yourself and your pets the trouble and look elsewhere!

Exceptional Review for The Vet in Old Isleworth I cannot recommend The Vet in Old Isleworth highly enough. My dog, Merot! has been treated here numerous times, and every visit is an example of outstanding care and professionalism. The service they provide is truly exceptional. From the very beginning—when Merlot was just eight weeks old—he has received the most thorough and prompt attention during every check-up and treatment. Gina has been fantastic in keeping me updated promptly and with care, ensuring I am informed every step of the way. Their attention to detail and genuine compassion for both pets and owners is remarkable. Every interaction with the team has left me amazed by their dedication, efficiency, and expertise. It’s clear they deeply care about the animals they treat, and I feel so fortunate to have such a wonderful veterinary practice to rely on. Thank you for everything you do for Merlot and all the other pets lucky enough to come through your doors!

Have been taking our elderly cat here since we moved to the area in 2020 and always found the service exemplary. Successfully identified his hyperthyroidism after he lost lots of weight despite a healthy appetite 3 years ago and he is still going strong aged 19! Also taken him there for claw clipping and removing matted fur. He is a nervous cat and always seems at ease with all the team. Big thank you for all you do.

We had an unfortunate experience with our hamster Clover here when the wrong medication and dose where prescribed and her condition worsened dramatically. After her passing, we were only offered a £41 'good-will' (?) refund out of £106.75 that never arrived. Please, if you are thinking of doing so, DO NOT BRING YOUR SMALL FURRIES TO THIS VET. They are not prepared to treat them or even assess them.

Unfortunately our experience was not what we expected. We phoned to find out if they could treat small rodents, in particular a hamster. We were assured that they would. But the experience revealed the opposite. We took her there a couple of times and after antibiotics and different medications she only got worse and there were no solutions and no diagnosis. Then, as a last resort, we went to another exotic but it was too late, we were told that the doses and meds received were not the right ones. In the end we had to put her to sleep because she was in a lot of pain. The veterinarian was friendly, and I know he did what he knew to help. But sometimes you have to be able to delegate and admit when something is beyond your ability. I'm sure it's good for cats and dogs as there is clearly a lot more experience. But if you have a small or exotic animal. It's better to choose one specific vet for that. I'm sorry to have to put up this review but I think it's important to save someone from having the same sad experience we had.

Gina the veterinary nurse has all the skills of a brilliant nurse Gina has empathy and a very warm approach to her animals .Gina is what Medivets success is all about x Mellisa the front of house receptionist is always jolly polite and welcoming on arrival .I trust them both totally to handle the care of our dog Coco xxx
