Awful, took an incredibly abused kitten in and they gave it straight back to the owner. Apparently the little thing is due to be put down next week. Covered in it's own mess and obviously very hungry as it went straight for my sandwiches. Disgusted at the negligence of so called professionals.

I have been taking my cats to Abdel's for around 10 years. Personally I love the no nonsense, get on with it attitude. I trust him implicitly, and that he will provide the correct diagnosis and the most cost efficient medication. I rate him very highly as a vet. I appreciate not everyone else does, but there are plenty of vets to choose from if you don't. His appointments often run late, but that is because he has so many customer's who really value him.

Disgusting. Cancelled my dogs spay on the morning of her operation, specifically booked in before Abdul retired due to her not agreeing well with anaesthetic previously. It would seem in the last week any compassion has gone out of the window. I have moved all my dogs over to Prime vets in chesterfield.

We have entrusted five Rhodesian Ridgebacks and one German Sherherd to Abdul & his staff's care over many years - without doubt, the best care they could possibly have had. Whilst I understand why Abdul is retiring after a lifetime of putting other peoples pets first, he will be greatly missed. We too will be looking for another independent vet or even somewhere like Blue Cross, that isn't part of some 'management company' where profit matters more than care. Sad to see you go Abdul, but please enjoy every minute of your well deserved retirement with your family.

Everything Abdul has done for our animals I've always felt blessed. He's always shown me things wrong and doesn't rush when we've been in for consultation. Really goes through the problems they've had and we've kept them as comfortable as possible.. Hes always helped when we've needed him and the staff are always so nice. Even the receptionists. Thank you.

Abdul is an amazing vet and we have been with Abdul since he first started his practice before this corporate company took over. Abdul is, and has always been, compassionate, honest and has always put our pet’s health first before profits. All of the staff have always been brilliant, particularly Sabrina and Becky who are helpful, knowledgeable and care about our pets, and also us as pet owners. The reception staff are lovely and always try their best to fit your pet in for an appointment but they now have to constantly put up with complaints regarding the price increases which have escalated tremendously since Medivet has taken “control” of this lovely, once family led practice. Even flea and worming treatments not covered by Insurance have escalated. It will be interesting to see how many pet owners choose to stay with Medivet Littleover once Abdul retires, as he is the reason that I, and the pet owners I know, have been with this amazing and highly respected and trusted vet for the past 17 years. Medivet are not the Practice, just a faceless, Corporate Company detached from the reality of, and from the Pets that are registered with them.

Abdul is such a knowledgeable vet. Despite not enjoying the experience I know my dogs are very well looked after and I will be very sad to see him retire.

Been with Abdul since he opened and he is absolutely fabulous. Prices have gone up recently but that is due to a large business running the place now. No one person could continue working as hard as Abdul does forever on their own! He will be sorely missed in this locality - you could not hope for a better vet. Good luck and happiness Abdul in your retirement.

* Although we’re happy to see these pets at the practice, we advise checking with us that the vet who can offer the service is available on the day of your preferred booking.
