I arrived for my planned appointment promptly at 5.15 on 23rd October for my dog's routine check up and vaccinations. I announced my arrival at the desk with the receptionist. The waiting room was empty with the odd customer coming in for various requests. After half an hour the receptionist got up, left the desk without a word and went upstairs. A couple of minutes later a different receptionist came down. I asked her how much longer I had to wait. She then looked at the computer and realised that I had not been checked in as the original receptionist had failed to register my arrival. She was very apologetic and so was the vet but I did feel aggrieved that the original receptionist didn't think to wonder why I was still sitting waiting for my appointment 30 minutes after my allotted time. I spent a hefty £108 and just felt that an offer of a gesture of goodwill would have been greatly appreciated to compensate the inconvenience caused.

I called 25/7/24 and spoke to Marline who was reassuring, informative and most professional. My appointment was then booked for later that day which was brilliant as I felt my dog was poorly. The Vet we saw, Lyanne was calm and charming, thorough and super professional. Lots of good advice given and appreciated. The waiting room has treats, water etc. and staff welcoming. Thank you Medivet Greenwich.

This was the worst experience of my life. They are not doctors—they are monsters. They are absolutely unprofessional: they couldn’t place a catheter for the cat (other clinics managed without a problem) and couldn’t even do a proper bandage. But the worst part was their complete lack of empathy. They repeatedly said ‘Game over’ and twice suggested euthanasia. Instead of offering help, they started arguing with us, blaming us for coming “too late” (even though it was exactly at the scheduled time). We took our cat to another clinic where everything was done properly. Four months later, he’s still alive.

This is not a 24 hour vet service!! Called on Saturday morning because my dog was sick only to be told they were too busy and I should go to Camberwell. I don’t have a car. Public transport with a sick dog is not feasible!!! Get more vets! Normalise being open on Saturdays and Sundays! Clearly Greenwich customers have a demand. We are not adequately being serviced. It is penalising those less mobile or without cars!!!!

I am writing to express my deep concern and dissatisfaction with Medvet's practices. More than a year after I visited the clinic with my pet, they now charge me for services paid for when they were performed. It's puzzling because every time I went to the clinic, I paid the bill at the consultation time without the possibility of instalment payments or any other method except full upfront payment. I had already seen previous comments about Medvet's unethical actions (see below for some I consider serious), and I refrained from reporting earlier what I had observed regarding the services provided to my dog. I observed absurdly high and unexplained bills, administration of sedative medications without absolute necessity and previous consentment, and charges for medications at prices much higher than those found in the market. Therefore, I echo the negative reviews and do not recommend this clinic, even though the reception is attentive, and some professionals (not all, unfortunately) are adequate.

I have been with Medivet (other branch) for a long time and recently switched to Medivet Greenwich and my experience here has been very positive so far for my senior rabbit and young cat. The communication is clear in terms of invoice breakdown, prices estimation, recommendations, expert referrals. These are always sent via both email and SMS (and hard copy if needed) so a lot of the processes are very quick and smooth. For pet parents that are worried and frustrated when their fur babies got sick, I think it is a great relief to be able to drop a call and ask for general advice once you are registered. We have came in for emergencies check-up and that was organised super swiftly. You do have to pay for the emergency check-up, however, but the pricing is good giving that we got a slot schedule within the same day! The doctors are always happy to provide extra advice, small chat in between that helps took the seriousness or anxieties away when my cat or rabbit have to go in for any health check-up of problems. The front desk staffs are very professional and kind hearted. They are quick and clear in communication and very understandable if we arrive late or has to re-schedule last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. They also offer various tips and very knowledgeable with insurance/invoice/payments... this saved us tons of time.

We can't thank Antonio at Medivet Greenwich enough for the exceptional care he provided to our dog after he was unfortunately not properly treated at Medivet Beckenham, Antonio immediately noticed the problem and took swift action. He admitted our dog right away and made sure he received the continuous care he desperately needed. Antonio's attention to detail, dedication, and genuine concern for our dog's well-being made all the difference. He kept us updated throughout the process and even provided reassuring updates the following morning, which meant the world to us. If you're looking for someone who will truly care for your furry friends, we highly recommend Antonio at Medivet Greenwich. His professionalism, compassion, and commitment to his work are truly outstanding. Thank you, Antonio, for everything you did for us 🙏🏼❤️

Our dog was a patient at Medivet Greenwich. I am writing this to give feedback to Medivet so that hopefully our awful experience will not be repeated with other pet owners. When my dog fell ill, we brought him to Medivet where he was seen by Dr Antonio who told us that his situation is critical. This was a complete shock to us. Thus, we asked to consult my dog’s usual vet, Dr Rok for a second opinion as he knew my dog’s medical history. At first, they said they would try to get Dr Rok, but never actually actioned this and clearly had no intention of doing so. We had to find Dr Rock ourselves, but he still refused to see our dog. They were the ones that told us that our dog was in a critical state, but they were completely indifferent as to whether he lived or died. Further, when we asked Dr Antonio questions to clarify the situation, we were met with an incredibly callous attitude. He made us feel as though we shouldn’t be asking questions and that we were irritating him and wasting his time. He instead pressured us to make life and death decisions quickly and to not question anything else. His urgency wasn’t because he cared for my dog, but he simply wanted to move on to his next case. We were scared of irritating him further, so couldn’t have a proper discussion to ensure we made the best decision for my dog. I understand that being a vet is stressful but we are the ones losing our loved one. We didn’t deserve this treatment and are shocked by the complete lack of empathy and compassion. Medivet made an already traumatic evening even more distressing. I sincerely hope Medivet improves upon its service so that other pet owners don’t go through what we went through.
