I recently visited Medivet Croydon, and I could not be more impressed with the experience and service received. The welcome was very warm especially as my cat was extremely vocal. The vet took the time to examine my cat and answer any questions or concerns I had. Her kindness and expertise truly put my mind at ease. The clinic was very clean, very well maintained and organised, I didn't have too wait long to be seen. Would highly recommend this team 👌

(1 week I have been registered in this practice) I am disappointment with the experience I had during my recent visit to your practice. I initially brought my puppy in last week for treatment for a skin condition. The nurse recommended an 8-day steroid treatment and advised me to return for a follow-up to “”check”” her reaction. I was happy to proceed and agreed to the plan. However, when I returned for the follow-up appointment, the experience was not as expected. The visit lasted less than three minutes, during which the nurse briefly examined my puppy's skin to check her reaction to the medication. Afterward, when I spoke with the receptionist, I was informed that there would be an additional charge. Despite having already paid £160 for the initial treatment, I was charged an additional £45 for what was described as a "consultation." This situation felt very misleading. I was under the impression that the follow-up was part of the original treatment plan and would not incur another fee. The receptionist's explanation—that the previous visit was something else, and this one was a consultation—did not seem reasonable, as the follow-up was supposed to be a “”check-up””, not a new consultation. I found it so disrespectful. I understand that businesses have their policies, but I find it difficult to accept that a brief check on my puppy’s condition could be classified as a consultation as I was already in a plan treatment. I genuinely appreciated the kindness and professionalism of the nurse, and I had planned to return in two weeks. However, this billing issue has left me frustrated, and unfortunately, I feel compelled to reconsider continuing with your practice. While I understand that money is a necessary part of running a business, customer satisfaction and trust are equally important. I hope you take this feedback into account and make adjustments to your approach to customer service.
