I embarked on my journey in veterinary medicine with a passion for nurturing the health and well-being of animals. After completing my education, earning a master's degree from Veterinary School in 2021, I delved into practical experience through an internship at a small animal clinic in Türkiye. Here, I gained invaluable hands-on experience and honed my skills in the care and treatment of companion animals. Eager to expand my horizons and explore new opportunities, I transitioned to the United Kingdom to join an international veterinary services company. In this role, I served as a Veterinarian specializing in performing official controls on behalf of the food standards agency. Over the course of one and a half years, I gained a deep understanding of regulatory compliance and quality assurance protocols within the veterinary field. Despite the valuable experiences gained in regulatory work, my heart remained dedicated to the direct care of small animals and pets. Driven by this passion, I made the decision to transition back to clinical practice and joined a small animal clinic. Here, I am able to leverage my diverse background and expertise to provide compassionate care and medical attention to beloved pets, fulfilling my lifelong dedication to the health and happiness of animals.

I'm very happy to share my experiences of Medivet Catton. I brought my four dogs home from Texas in 2020 and without exception Hanneke and her team have provided knowledgeable, and professional care of my pets every time. The staff that I first saw five years ago remain the same, which I think is a very good indicator of a well run practice. I would highly recommend Medivet Catton not only for their professionalism but for their genuine kindness to animals in their care. Susy Scott

Catton vets are amazing, they truly care for their animals, they came to our house to help us with our elderly dog, the care and compassion they gave molly and us made the whole situation easier. Right up to the end the love they showed our molly was amazing. I can’t thank them enough, I was dreading the day but the care they gave made it easier. The vet and the nurse that came (sorry I don’t remember their names) were brilliant. Thank you.

I had to put down my cat and they did not even care about the comfort for me my cat and daughter. My daughter left balling to the fact she couldn’t see the vet sign because her eyes were blurred. I excepted better and hope there will be better .

ORIGINAL REVIEW: This used to be a fantastic practice and they’ve been looking after my cats for nearly 25 years. The last two years however have seen a rapid downturn in the quality of care provided here even for basic annual heath check and vaccination appointments. Frankly I’m looking to go somewhere else from now on. UPDATE: Catton Vets reached out to me after this review and I have to say I was impressed with their response and how it was handled. My concerns have been addressed and I will continue to use them for my next vaccination & checkup. Updated from 2 stars back to 5 stars

Didn't even get the chance to explain why I needed an appointment, the reason being that my dog had been attacked in the morning pending an ongoing police investigation and need to see a vet, the phone was answered by someone Didn't even give her name she just said do you mind holding..? then disappeared and put me on hold..! And then after endless waiting the phone call just ended 🙄 terrible service
