I qualified in 1998 and have worked in the local area since then which makes me very proud to have long relationships with many of our clients. I am a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Advanced Practitioner In Small Animal Surgery; having gained extra qualifications in Small Animal Surgery. These include a General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Surgery and a Post Graduate Certificate in Surgery. Early 2023 I became a Branch Partner and opened Bermuda Park. I carry out referral surgical procedures for local practices as well as my regular veterinary care for our registered clients. I aim to continue with exciting developments for my practice over the coming years.

Following my graduation from USAMV Bucharest (Romania) in 2020, I started working in one of the biggest emergency hospitals in the city. After 2 years I decided to do the next step for my career, and I moved in UK. I was pleased to start my new role in Medivet Bermuda Park, an amazing modern practice and well equipped. Here, I discovered that all the staff are wonderful, knowledgeable, and experienced and open to help with my personal and professional development. I enjoy internal medicine, but my main interests are surgery on soft tissues and orthopaedics , areas which I want to develop following a certificate in the near future.

Practice Manager & Head Veterinary Nurse

I started as a Student Veterinary Nurse in 1995. I qualified as a vet nurse in 1997 and became a clinical coach for student nurses. So far, I’ve trained 21 students, an achievement I’m enormously proud of. I'm also qualified in behaviour consulting, small animal nutrition and practice administration. I’m particularly passionate about nurse consulting, and many clients see me for their regular appointments. Being married to Mark, branch partner, following the exciting opening of Bermuda Park I have taken the position as Practice Manager and am here for all the business, client and team support. Life is busy running a practice, but we love it!

My journey working with animals started shortly after leaving school. I have been animal mad for as long as I can remember. I studied a National Diploma in animal management, passing with triple distinction. I soon realised along the way, the career I wanted to pursue was veterinary nursing. I first started working in practice in 2007 completing a level 2 certificate in animal nursing assistants by 2009. I finally qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2011. Shortly after qualifying I became a clinical coach, training student nurses. I love seeing the same enthusiasm in my students that I had myself as a student nurse. It makes me proud to be able to share my knowledge and expertise. I am also a consulting nurse and have regular consult slots where I enjoy seeing both my regular and new clients. When I am not consulting, I am very passionate about anaesthesia so you will most likely find me in the operating theatre. At home I am just as busy, looking after my two young children, Anabelle, and Lenny. We share our home and garden with our three chickens, Tilly the tortoise and Quinton the ragdoll cat (I am a bit of a crazy cat lady). Life is busy and hectic but that is just the way I like it!

I joined this wonderful team in 2020. I started as a PCA which then allowed me to start my journey as a Student Vet Nurse in 2021. At the start of 2024 I finally qualified as a Vet Nurse. You may see my face around reception and nurse consulting, but my main passion is theatre and patient care. I also have a crazy nephew who I spend a lot of my time with outside of work.

I have had the pleasure of joining Medivet as of August 2021 following my studies which were completed in 2018. I have studied a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management and been awarded a Diploma of Higher Education in Animal Science: Both studied at Moreton Morrell. I have had vast volunteering experiences in many sectors within the Animal Industry and was always keen to return to paid employment in the Veterinary Sector! I now have this opportunity to further my knowledge with starting my qualification in Veterinary Nursing! I have two beautiful children at home with my partner, and our little bundle of energy: Gizmo, our Border Terrier X Pug.

I joined this wonderful team as of February 2024 following my studies at Moreton Morrell College where I achieved a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management. During my studies I also worked as a Sales Assistant in a pet store where I was able to grow my knowledge in pet nutrition and behaviour among many other areas of animal care. I have also had work experience at an Alpaca Stud farm which was a very unique experience where I had the pleasure of learning so much about the ins and outs of farm life. I also spent 2 weeks in South Africa studying cyber tracking and conservation which was the most incredible experience. I have 2 amazing cats called Honey and Teddy and the most loving, but crazy Sprocker Spaniel called Wren. My passion is for caring for animals and being a part of the Veterinary industry has been a dream of mine since a child. I'm so proud to say that I am part of the Medivet team.

I started working as a practice-trained veterinary nurse in 1986 before becoming a Client Care Assistant in 2007. In the past, I've had many pets from Cats and Dogs to Rats, Bearded Dragons and even a Tarantula. I have rescued many animals in the past such as ferrets and birds needing hand rearing. I have been married to my husband for over 25 years and spent my time writing poems, doing crochet and cross stitching all whilst spending time with my family and our crazy dog Billy.

Following 20 years of self-employment, I decided to combine my love of animals with my customer service skills to become a client care assistant. I was lucky enough to join Medivet in 2023 and am so proud to be part of such a hard-working team! I love the variety that this job offers and enjoy meeting all our clients and their wonderful pets. I have always loved animals and had many pets through the years, including dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and tropical fish! In my spare time I am a keen runner and particularly enjoy being outside in nature. I am a proud mum of three amazing boys and have a beautiful rescue greyhound called Jack.

I started working as a customer service advisor 17 years ago in the sports and leisure industry. My Medivet journey started in 2011 as a client with my crazy excitable staffie Bella. I now have a beautiful rescue pocket bully called Connie. I feel extremely proud to have been given the opportunity to combine my customer service skills with my love of animals and become part of the Medivet team. Outside of work I enjoy group exercise classes, going to the gym and live music.

I have always been very happy with the Medivet team. They have always cared for my dogs and have always been kindness itself with the dogs and myself. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else and have always recommended Medivet Bermuda Park to friends and family.

Great vets, my kitten went for his first injections and he’s normally a very nervous cat and the vet put him at ease and he didn’t even know that he had had his injections or microchip. Highly recommended

Took are beloved Lotte on Tuesday to be checked as not been eating for days. Alex was very thorough and told us prognosis was not very good. He gave her pain killers and we had her at home for one last night. Took her back yesterday and it broke my heart but did the best thing and she went too sleep for the last time.Staff were brilliant.
