We managed to obtain an emergency appointment on a sunday, we were seen 15 minutes past our appointment time. The vet was very caring, and explained in detail the issue with our cat and our options, unfortunately we had to let our cat go as she was very ill and old( 20.2 years) and again the vet was very compassionate and caring throughout the procedure.

We recently had to take our cat, Chonka, to Medivet Southend for an emergency, and the entire experience was exceptional. From the moment we called, the receptionist was incredibly helpful and friendly, making sure Chonka could see the vet immediately. Chonka was treated by Mr Arnold Hegedus, who was extremely kind and patient with our cat. He treated Chonka with great care, as he was in pain from an infection caused by a cat bite. Mr Hegedus cleaned the wound and administered two injections to help Chonka recover. I cannot recommend this veterinary surgery enough! Their team is compassionate, professional, and the fact that they are open 24/7 provides invaluable peace of mind. Thank you, Medivet Southend, for saving our cat!

Everyone were so nice at the clinic! From nurse at the reception to the Vet that saw my cat. They've been so gentle and caring and professional. They saw my cat 45min after I called them for urgent appointment (Sunday). My cat was diagnosed quick, medication was given and now my cat is much much better all thanks to them! Would recommend them to everyone. Prices are aswell more than reasonable!

Misdiagnosed our puppy who was very weak with a bad stomach. Gave her pain relief injections despite showing no symptoms of pain, left her feeling even more weak and now drowsy. I was made to buy 2 weeks of painkillers. All my questioning of whether she may have ingested something were ignored, only to find later she’d eaten something bad (a nicotine patch pouch) at home. The medical professional who I trusted diagnosed her with a slipped disk despite no symptoms (pain), no incident occurring and her being an extremely fit and active dog. Extremely disappointed with this service!

I was told to take my very sick dog to Medivet 24 (my vets wanted me to take her home because they were closing for the evening but there was no way, she was so ill so we were referred to Medivet) and they were so good with her. Unfortunately she didn't make it but it the vets and staff at Medivet did everything they could and were realistic with us on her prognoses. I have since moved my other dogs to Medivet 24 now. They have everything there to care for your furry member of the family. Yes it costs but it cost at my other vet too and they had her all day, we paid their bill (nearly £1000 for the day) and was moved on to Medivet. I'm not 100% sure but I do wonder if she would still be alive now if I had taken her straight to Medivet. Would 100% recommend this vet.
